about me

i specialize in ui/ux design, shopify and squarespace website design, conversion-focused web design, and e-commerce ux optimization. my work focuses on improving usability, strengthening brand storytelling, and increasing engagement and conversions through thoughtful design.

my design journey began in film and visual storytelling, where i explored editing and photoshop during a film class. that creative spark led to a year-long internship at a creative film studio, where i gained hands-on experience in design, production, and visual communication.

i later studied digital arts and design at full sail university, building a strong foundation in design principles, user experience, and digital creativity.

after graduation, i spent 8 years as a ui/ux designer for a home security and automation software company, designing user interfaces for complex systems and learning how to simplify technical experiences for real users.

alongside my career, i built and ran a slow fashion brand as a solo entrepreneur, managing everything from product design and e-commerce sales to branding and customer experience. this strengthened my skills in e-commerce strategy, audience growth, and conversion-driven design.

after taking time to focus on family and entrepreneurship, i'm now actively returning to ui/ux and web design work through freelance, contract, and full-time opportunities.
